I will try to convey the letters on the monitor those impressions and feelings, from the journey to Kamyanets-Podilsky, to you.
To get from Lviv to Kamyanets-Podilsky, by rail, it's not easy. There is no direct train, but waiting for a transfer to Khmelnitsky needs a long time. Although if you do not mind walking around the night city, you can preview the Internet, which interesting places are in Khmelnytsky, near the station and during the time you are waiting for a train to Kamyanets-Podilsky, to visit them.

All the problems of the road are forgotten right away, as soon as, from Novoplanovskogo Bridge you will see the old city.
Here it is, rebelled as if from a novel about the Middle Ages, sung in songs and described in the works. The towers of defensive fortifications and bell towers of temples rise above the old houses, between which, on the streets, you feel like a fairy tale.
All you need is to cross the bridge that separates the present and the past, and you are already part of the fairy tale. Fairy tales, in which there are still noble knights in the world, and all the girls will certainly wait for their prince.

To the right of the bridge is a map of the old city, which depicts the main architectural monuments. It is a good thing if you like to travel by yourself, but not with the help of travel agencies.
The first thing you'll be eyeing as soon as you get to the old city is the Church of the Holy Trinity (XVI.). But, cars that were parked near her, did not fit into the overall picture.
Right, before us, the church of St. Trinity Monastery of the Trinitarian (XVIII century). The road to the right leads to the fortress, but given that there is still a lot of time, we turn to the left and go to the court of the district (Nobility Assembly) (XIX), the monastery of the Dominicans (XV-XVII centuries), the Russian Magistrate (XVII-XIX cent. Art.), the ruins of the Armenian Cathedral and further down to the barracks of the fortress.

Again, on the left and over the slopes of the canyon, we stroll to the Potter's Tower, which stands alongside the old building.
It's time to return to the city center.
Going to the center and seeing the bell tower of the Church of St. Apostles Peter and Paul remembered that they also wanted to visit him.
To get to the territory you need to walk under the arch, also known as the arch of desires. According to the legend it is necessary to pass under an arch and to make a wish, or to enter, to make a wish, to touch an arch in the right hand and to leave. I personally have not tried so accurate instructions and I can not really answer the desire to come true. Though some of our previous presidents say that they were under this arch)))
From the terrace of the church in front of us opens a nice panorama of the fortress, where after visiting the church will run our way.

Having crossed the Castle Bridge (XIV-XVII), which connects the old city with the fortress, we examine the impregnable walls and towers of the citadel.
Passing through the gate we are inside, on the left is a booth with information.
Behind the walls of the fortress is a spacious courtyard above which the spire of the tower rises. In the yard there are several cannons, a deck on which you can make a coin in memory and a souvenir shop. There are not many people.

After a good hour in the fort, we go to see the defensive shafts in the northwest direction (New Castle (XVII-XVIII centuries)).

The day we visited everything we wanted. The memory of the old city and the greatness of the Kamyanets-Podilsky fortress will remain forever. Snowy spire towers and the beauty of the bell tower. A sense of a fairy tale accompanying you.
